Circa Resort & Casino’s High-Tech Transportation Hub, Garage Mahal, to Open October 28
State-of-the-art parking structure punctuated by safety, cleanliness and curated artwork will begin welcoming guests next week
Las Vegas – Today, Circa Resort & Casino – set to debut on October 28 – announced details about the city’s first fully integrated ride-share hub, Garage Mahal. Designed with rideshare services in mind, the transportation hub will be convenient for drivers and riders to easily navigate through one of the safest and cleanest parking facilities in the city.
“When we set out to design Garage Mahal, we knew the growing presence of rideshare services would play a huge part in our final product,” said Derek Stevens, CEO of Circa. “From the fun art to our focus on safety, we are excited to deliver a garage that will make getting around Downtown Las Vegas even easier.”
Located directly off Fremont Street and accessible to and from the Circa’s casino, the eight-story structure will house 982 parking spaces and will also provide valet service and long-term parking.
Designed to offer an elevated entry experience, an air-conditioned bridge connects the garage directly to Circa’s second floor casino. The bridge provides a cool and comfortable transition into the property, while offering an incredible view above Downtown Las Vegas’ bustling streets and a direct line to Circa’s satellite sportsbook for quick in-and-out sports wagering.
Impressive Tech & Advance Safety
With security cameras from Park Assist covering nearly every inch of the space, Garage Mahal offers a real-time analysis of the hub’s activity. Located above every four parking spots, panoramic overhead cameras assess several key data points, including the exact number of spots available at any given time. In addition to providing 24-hour surveillance to all areas of the garage, the high-tech cameras also allow Garage Mahal’s security team to locate specific automobiles in a matter of seconds, making finding lost vehicles easier than ever.
Garage Mahal will also be equipped with high-speed broadband Wi-Fi throughout the entire structure, allowing for fast internet and cell service from the moment guests enter the garage, including unobstructed use of rideshare services.
Illuminated with continuous LED light fixtures throughout every level, Garage Mahal will be the lightest and brightest garage in the city. Dedicated janitorial and public areas teams will tend to the garage on a full-time basis, routinely cleaning the public spaces multiple times daily.
Intriguing Artwork
One of Garage Mahal’s standout features includes curated art installations throughout the space. Setting the stage for an over-the-top experience, visitors will be welcomed into the rideshare area by a 22-foot-tall chandelier featuring Circa’s tagline: “Time of Your Life”. Designed by Egads, the chandelier is illuminated in blue and gold LED lights wrapped into a captivating light fixture.
The first floor of the garage also features three large murals by Las Vegas artist, Eric Vozzola. The painted pieces use mid-century pattern work and familiar casino icons – including cherries and dice – to offer a retro take on classic Las Vegas imagery. Greeting guests on the first floor, Vozzola’s ground-level mural features graphics that can be found on every other floor of the parking structure.
Adding to the space’s eye-catching aesthetics, every floor will showcase a sculpture in the shape of the floor number adorned with Matchbox cars. Egads used 3,231 toy cars to create the intricate artwork to serve as visual reminders for guests using Garage Mahal’s self-park services. Each floor is a different color, with a specific sculpture unique to that level.
Finally, two corner video walls will showcase digital art installations by a rotating list of featured creators.
Opening to the public on October 28, Circa will honor the timeless spirit of Las Vegas while leading the charge for a bold new age punctuated by groundbreaking offerings. The impressive 777-room property will merge old-school Las Vegas hospitality with cutting-edge design and technology. The 1.25-million-square-foot Circa will include a stunning collection of rooms & suites, the world’s largest sportsbook, five original restaurant concepts, six unique beverage spots, Circa Stadium Swim® pool amphitheater operating 365 days a year, a two-story casino and more.
