    The discussion panel will be hosted by Mike Palm, Vice President of Operations at Circa, the D and Golden Gate. With one of the sharpest minds in sports betting, he’ll share his perspective that started Circa Sports. His oversight for the Circa Sports brand started at the D Las Vegas and Golden Gate, and grew into the World’s Largest Sportsbook at Circa.

    Hailing from the Buckeye state (Ohio), Amal Shah gained a love for all sports at a young age, eventually developing into one of the best sports gamblers in the media world. Amal earned his start in broadcasting in 2002, in Dallas, Texas at KRLD. While there, Amal covered the biggest events to hit the Metroplex: Super Bowl XLV, The Final Four and the World Series. Amal made the leap to the desert, Las Vegas, Nevada, where he embarked on a career as a professional poker player and sports gambler. In 2017, Amal joined VSiN, where for seven years Amal was the co-host of My Guys in the Desert. Amal has been seen as the sports betting analyst for PBC on FOX, ShoBox (Showtime), and PBC on Amazon Prime. Amal can also be heard weekly as a guest on SiriusXM College Sports Radio.

    Jeff Sherman

    A longtime Las Vegas oddsmaker with over 30 years of risk experience, Sherman recently served as Vice President of Risk Management at the Westgate SuperBook (formerly the Hilton/LVH SuperBook), where he spent more than two decades. Other prior sportsbook stops included the Imperial Palace, opening The Resort at Summerlin, and opening Palms Casino Resort.  He is widely recognized as one of the industry’s earliest and most influential line originators across multiple sports, including NFL, NBA and golf.

    Originally from the Los Angeles, California area, Sherman graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 1993 and earned his MBA from UNLV in 1997. 

    Sherman is a frequent media contributor, appearing on platforms such as VSiN, Golf Digest, ESPN, and others to discuss line movement, handicapping, and industry trends.

    Ruthie Polinsky is a host and reporter at Chicago Sports Network (CHSN), where she hosts The Big Pro Football Show and The Chicago Lead. She primarily covers the Chicago Bears while also contributing to the network’s White Sox coverage and serving as a sideline reporter on Bulls broadcasts. Ruthie also often appears on Chicago Sports Radio 104.3 The Score. Previously, Ruthie was a host and reporter for NBC Sports Chicago, an Emmy Award-winning sports anchor at NBC 6 in Miami, and the 2019 National Sports Media Association Rhode Island Sportscaster of the Year.
