“At BetMGM, Koepka is also the most popular bet as far as betting slips are concerned with 10% of the tickets there. He is also a slight second behind Oosthuizen in betting handle at 13% against 15%. Meanwhile, Circa Sports assistant sportsbook manager Jeff Davis told NESN that Koepka is ‘far and away the most popular with the betting public’ with 50% more tickets than the second-most popular bet, Christiaan Bezuidenhout.

For the third year in a row, Circa Sports in Las Vegas is offering yes-no props on some of the shortest-priced horses in its Kentucky Derby futures. Bettors may lay a price to get a return if a given horse does not win the $3 million race on May 7. They also would cash if that horse were to lose or not even get to the starting gate.

‘It doesn’t get used as much as the ‘yes,’ but it allows bettors who have strong opinions against a horse to bet that opinion,’ said Paul Zilm, who is in his third year writing the Derby futures for Circa. ‘It also keeps the ‘yes’ price in check.'”
