Circa Resort and Casino prepares for March Madness week 2 by Alicia Pattillo of KTNV Las Vegas
“As March Madness continues, Circa Resort and Casino is preparing for another big weekend. Owner Derek Stevens said Circa was built with sports in mind, so it is no surprise that this casino hold the World’s largest sports book. ‘We’re getting ready for second round of Basketball coming up here it should be a great great week for Las Vegas, sweet 16 is always a great weekend over here,’ Stevens said.“
What’s the smart bet in Loyola-Oregon State game? by Rob Miech of Chicago Sun-Times
“Circa’s Yes/No propositions are unique in the industry. Metcalf and operations manager Jeffrey Benson have keen senses of humor, too, having placed 99-1 odds on Gretzky the Great. Anyone reacting quickly, but coolly, could have put $450 on No, knowing it was a winner, to net $100. The typical customer limit is $1,000, which can be doubled upon request. ‘So, in theory, someone could have gotten $2,000 down,’ said Metcalf in a text message. Alas, he confirms that nobody made such a ‘No’ wager within that narrow window.“
New Las Vegas resorts innovate by blending sports and nightlife by Brock Radke of Las Vegas Sun
“A new shift is taking place at the newest Las Vegas resorts. When Circa opened downtown in October, the huge Stadium Swim pool complex garnered as much attention as its massive sportsbook.“
Top 10 casino openings and expansions for spring 2021 by Dan Ippolito of Casino City Times
“Circa Sports continues to grow with the addition of a new satellite book at Tuscany Suites and Casino. The partnership marks Circa Sports’ first Las Vegas expansion outside of Derek Stevens’ portfolio of properties. ‘We are thrilled to open a new Circa Sports satellite book right before March Hoops begins,’ said Stevens. ‘Our location at Tuscany enhances the convenience to fund an account with Circa Sports and reach a broader range of customers.’
The reimagined space offers three windows and two kiosks, with a design seamlessly integrated into Tuscany’s Northern Italian-inspired ambiance. Of course, Circa Resort & Casino opened in Downtown Las Vegas back in late October 2020. The 1.25 million square-foot, adults-only property features the world’s largest sportsbook with a 78-million-pixel screen viewable to up to 1,000 people. There is also Stadium Swim which includes six temperature-controlled pools, two swim-up bars and a 143 x 40 foot, 14-million-megapixel LED screen.“
Extra Week of NFL Betting Worth $50 Million to Las Vegas by Patrick Everson of Covers
“Oddsmakers around Las Vegas are enthusiastic about that bonus week, particularly since it comes with the benefit of losing a weekend of preseason games. ‘While you’ve heard grumblings from players about the extra week, we are thrilled,’ Circa Sports operations director Jeff Benson said. ‘An additional week of regular-season NFL is great for all sportsbooks, and even better that it comes at the expense of one less preseason (week), which typically sees a majority of sharp money.’“

Meet the 9-year-old kid from Reno who has the nation's best NCAA Tournament bracket. Grant Anderson correctly picked the tournament's first 47 games before USC upset Kansas. The odds of that are microscopic. https://t.co/gZqovEdexq

Still wondering why the #Packers drafted a running back so high in the draft last year? Don't. There aren't many humans on the planet like AJ Dillon.
And @ajdillon7 is betting on himself.

Seeing Nicolo Melli described as a sharpshooter is a bit odd. In the 22 games he's appeared this season, the 6-9 Italian is 25% from the field and 19% from 3-point distance. Don't see him being significant part of the playing rotation.
