Tuley’s Takes Today: Tuesday recap, Contest Corner, 2 best bets today (12/22) by Dave Tuley of VSiN.com

Circa Sports Million leader HANNIBAL BARCA-1 went 4-1 in Week 15 to improve to 55-20 (73.3 percent). HANNIBAL BARCA’s entry #2 is in 2nd place at 54-21 (72 percent) and 1.5 points ahead of Taco The Town in 3rd place at 52-22-1 (70.3 percent). For those who don’t know, contestants make 5 plays a week against the contest spread and receive 1 point for each win and 0,5 for each push.

ICYMI on Sunday: Circa Survivor, with $6 million on the line, has 16 live entries heading into “Christmas Week” (which includes Thursday and Saturday games only) after the Vikings won for the last survivor in Week 15. Eliminated in Week 15 were those that used the Cardinals (5), Jaguars (1) and Buccaneers (1). Those advancing used the Dolphins (12), who had to sweat before pulling out a 31-24 victory over the Jets, the 49ers (3) and the Vikings (1).

My Guys in The Desert – December 23, 2021 by VSiN

“On today’s episode of My Guys in The Desert host Femi Abebefe is joined by Mike Palm, Host of Odds On, and Derek Stevens, Circa Sports Founder, as they talk about the Circa Millions and Survivor contests. Also joining the show is Adam Burke, Sports Betting Analyst for VSiN, as they look ahead to the NFL Week 16 slate.

Tuley’s Takes Today: Thursday recap, updated NFL Week 16 best bets (12/24-25) by Dave Tuley of VSiN.com

“CircaSurvivor (with a $6 million guaranteed prize pool) had 16 live entries entering “Christmas Week” that only includes the Thursday and Saturday games of NFL Week 16, but 3 have already been eliminated with the 49ers on Thursday Night Football so only 13 remain. One entrant has already advanced to regular Week 16 with Titans. All 8 who had the Packers available used them vs. the Browns with the other 4 entrants on the Cardinals vs. the Colts. The remaining Survivors after Saturday’s games will then have to submit a play by 9 a.m. PT Sunday for the remaining Week 16 games on Sunday and Monday.

NFL Week 16 picks: Broncos a lock, and more best bets against the spread from Las Vegas SuperContest expert by R.J. White of SportsLine

“It’s hard to complain about a pair of 4-1 weeks in the Westgate SuperContest and Circa Sports Million, but if Jonathan Taylor goes down to run out the clock instead of scores at the end of Patriots-Colts, that’s a perfect week in both contests. Hard to complain too much with a Taylor rushing title ticket in my pocket, but as I try to climb back to my long term hit rate on these picks, it’s tough losing anything that looks like it’s about to cash late in the game in this part of the season.

Circa Million Week 16 Picks: Bengals -3 Is Way Too Small A Line by Adam Chernoff of Covers

“Covers is taking on the competition in the Circa Million Pro Football betting contest and Adam Chernoff delivers his Week 16 picks, highlighted by the undervalued Bengals against Tyler Huntley and Baltimore.

Circa Million Week 16 Lines, Picks & Consensus by Adam Burke of VSiN.com

“With only three weeks left in the NFL season, time is running out in the Circa Sports Million for those that have not yet made some money. We also saw the Circa Survivor field go from 4,080 entrants to just 16 in the quest for the $6 million top prize. These are stressful picks for those that are still vying for a prize to say the least.”

Tuley’s Takes Today: Saturday recap, Circa Survivor, NFL best bets/teasers (12/26) by Dave Tuley of VSiN.com

“Circa Survivor, which started the season with 4,080 entrants shooting for the $6 million guaranteed prize, is down to just 9 live entries after 4 were eliminated with the Cardinals on Saturday. Three also lost on the 49ers in “Christmas Week” on Thursday Night Football. All 8 of the contestants who had the Packers available entering the week used them, so they advance along with the 1 who used the Titans on TNF. Contestants must now make a pick on the rest of the NFL Week 16 slate on Sunday/Monday by 9 a.m. PT.

Crazy but true!!! IF the Packers and Cardinals had both lost on Saturday, RETURN OF SURVIVOR-5 (who used the Titans on #TNF) would have been the lone winner in “Christmas Week” and winner of the $6 million guaranteed prize. But it didn’t work that way, so we move on.

Circa Sports Million Top 5 Most-Selected Teams (40-35 entering Week 16) are off to an 0-2 start with losses by the Cardinals + 1 vs. the Colts and the Packers -7 vs. the Browns. Pending plays are Bengals -3 (No. 1 choice) vs. Ravens, Dolphins pick-’em at Saints and Bills + 2 at Patriots.”

The PreGame Show – December 26, 2021 by VSiN

“On this week’s The PreGame Show, host Femi Abebefe talks with the Sportsbook Directors at Circa Sports and DraftKings about the handle at their shops for the Week 16 NFL slate. Femi also gets a live report from both the Bills-Patriots and Steelers-Chiefs matchups.”

Tuley’s Takes Today: Sunday recap, Contest Corner, Monday best bets (12/27) by Dave Tuley of VSiN.com

“Circa Survivor is down to 5 live entries playing for the $6 million guaranteed prize pool as 4 were eliminated with the Chargers’ 41-29 loss at the Texans on Sunday as contestants had to submit a Week 16 Sunday/Monday play by 9 a.m. PT Sunday after surviving ‘Christmas Week’ that just included Thursday and Saturday’s games. There were 3 that advanced with the Eagles and 2 on the Falcons (who also survived a scare), including RETURN OF SURVIVOR-5, who would have won the whole thing on Saturday if the Packers had lost to the Browns.

Circa Sports Million Top 5 Most-Selected Teams are 2-2 so far in Week 16 (42-37 on the season) after wins by the Bengals -3 and Bills + 2 on Sunday after losses by the Cardinals + 1 and Packers -7 on Saturday. The last Top 5 play of the week is the Dolphins pick-’em vs. the Saints on Monday Night Football.

CircaSportsMillion leader HANNIBAL BARCA-1 went 2-3 in Week 16 but still leads at 57-23 (71.3 percent) with 2 weeks to go. His HANNIBAL BARCA-2 entry is also in a 3-way tie for 2nd at 56-24 (70 percent) with DURBIFY-1 and MFC INC-1. DURBIFY-2 is alone in 5th at 55-25 (68.8 percent), though JJarvis117 and Mad Russian could tie him in 5th place if Dolphins pick-’em wins on MNF.”

Follow The Money – December 27, 2021, Hour 3 by VSiN

“On the final hour of Follow The Money, hosts Mitch Moss and Pauly Howard talk Circa Sports contests with VSiN host and Circa VP Mike Palm. The guys also share their best bets during ‘In Pocket Plays,’ and recap the weekend in sports betting during, ‘Win Some, Lose Some.'”

Tuley’s Takes Today: Monday recap, Contest Corner, Tuesday best bet (12/28) by Dave Tuley of VSiN.com

“Circa Sports Million Top 5 Most-Selected Teams went 3-2 in Week 16 (43-37 on the season) as Dolphins PK at Saints on Monday Night Football joined the Bengals -3 vs. the Steelers and Bills + 2 at the Patriots as winners. Losses were the Cardinals + 1 vs. the Colts and Packers -7 vs. the Browns.

Circa Sports Million leader HANNIBAL BARCA-1 went 2-3 in Week 16 but still leads at 57-23 (71.3 percent) with 2 weeks to go. He also has another entry, HANNIBAL BARCA-2, that is in a 3-way tie for 2nd place at 56-24 (70 percent) with DURBIFY-1 and MFC INC-1. Meanwhile, DURBIFY-2 is in a 3-way tie for 5th at 55-25 (68.8 percent) with JJarvis 117 and Mad Russian. It’s going to be a great race to the finish!”

Derby odds move … to little avail by Ron Flatter VSiN.com

“‘Obviously, we have taken action on a few horses, which resulted in the lowering of prices,’ Zilm said. ‘I pretty much raised a bulk of the field to counter that and make sure I get back to the hold percentage I started with.’

Intentional or not, Zilm’s moves also reflected Circa’s aggressive personality, a characteristic that has been consistent in the 2½ years it has been in the Derby futures business. It also reflects sportsbook director Matt Metcalf’s reputation for being unafraid to take bold risks in booking everything from the NFL to tennis.”
