Preparing Yourself for Las Vegas Pool Party Season

Crowd of People Partying at Las Vegas Pool Party

Temperatures are rising in Las Vegas, and the unmistakable scents of sunscreen are lingering in the air. It’s every tourist’s signal to visit a day club and party out in the sun! Las Vegas pool parties should be an exciting part of any tourist’s itinerary, and we got you covered on all you need to know to have the best experience at the best Vegas pool parties in the city. Slather on your sunscreen, grab a drink, and head out to the pool!

Before You Go

Plan Ahead

Be sure to scope out all the various pool parties on the strip, as each has its unique ambiance. There is more than enough variety along the strip to pick a pool party that matches the experience you want to achieve, whether it’s a crazy twenty-something rager or a classy outing. For example, if you and your group are into sports and looking to get your hearts racing by viewing championship games and listening to soaring beats, check out Stadium Swim® at Circa Casino and Resort in Las Vegas!

Day clubs sell out their pool party tickets fast, so be sure to get your name on the guest list early, especially if a performer plays a set that day. Check out the hotel’s pool party schedule to see which artists are performing. You might get lucky and have a chance to see your favorite DJ! Don’t forget to view all of the VIP packages and amenities the day club offers. Be comfortable and avoid battling for a poolside spot beforehand by reserving a cabana, bungalow, daybed, or lounge chair.

Dress Code

Entry to many of the Las Vegas pool parties requires  you to follow a dress code. After all, they don’t want someone wearing a tuxedo killing the vibe.

Ladies, put your best bikini on and show yourself and your mile-long legs off! You want to wear something that makes you feel confident, attractive, and comfortable. Heels are welcome, but reserve the stilettos for the nightclub to avoid slipping by the pool. Opt for a pair of wedges or sandals instead. Most pool parties require you to enter through the casino and won’t allow you to walk around in a bikini. Invest in a light and flowy sundress or coverup to wear when you’re not in the pool area. There’s nothing sexier than confidence, so go out there, strut your stuff, and have fun!

Fellas, strive for a comfortable outfit that is good for both the beach and pool parties. Wear board shorts, a t-shirt or collared resort-type shirt such as a Hawaiian shirt, and sandals. Accessorize with your favorite waterproof watch if you wish. Avoid wearing athletic wear such as gym shorts or sneakers. Come stylish, don’t come uncomfortable.

If you forgot something at home or want to spruce up your pool outfit, stop by Circa Collections for pool essentials and designer clothing to make your ensemble perfect.

When You Get There

Leave your phone, gadgets, and large bags in your hotel room. Most day clubs don’t allow selfies or taking pictures of other guests. Unless you reserve a cabana or lounge chair, you have nowhere to keep your belongings, leaving your items prone to theft. Most day clubs don’t allow baggage over a specific size at all. You can opt to store your luggage in day lockers if they’re available, but most are sold for as much as $50. Save your cash to spend it on refreshing drinks instead!

Make sure to arrive around noon or even a little earlier to find the best poolside spot for you and your crew. If you didn’t book a cabana or lounge chair, you would have to stake out an area with a towel and friends. Reserve one in advance if you don’t want to battle for a spot.

If you’re hungry, check out the drink and food offerings the pool may have for you and your friends. Keep in mind that the food selection may only be small finger food items depending on which Las Vegas pool you decide to visit! The Stadium Swim food and drink menu has you covered for all your poolside needs, whether you and your friends want to share a gourmet grazing board and lobster corn dogs or if you want a taco trio or crispy chicken caesar wrap to yourself. And don’t forget to pair them with a cocktail.

Most importantly, surround yourself with other partygoers, heart-pumping music, exciting events, and incredible drinks at the best pool parties in Las Vegas. Have fun all-day and all-night!
