Circa Las Vegas in the News

The Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas keeps evolving and only getting better by Nina King of Las Vegas Magazine

“The newest hotel opening off Fremont Street is Circa Resort & Casino, which opened in October and began receiving guests in December. Some of the coolest aspects of the hotel include its Stadium Swim, an enormous swimming pool complex with a 40-foot-tall TV screen; Circa|Sports, a three-story sports book; and a steakhouse headed by lauded chef Barry S. Dakake.

Brand-New And Renovated Vegas Suites by Matt Turner of Luxury Travel Advisor

“If you’re looking for the latest and greatest in terms of accommodations, there are two resorts you need to know about. Circa Resort & Casino, the first ground-up casino resort built in Downtown Las Vegas in the last 40 years, is for adults only. It officially opened right before the holidays and aims to pay homage to Vegas’ ‘Golden Era’ through vintage design and nods to the city’s history — including the famous neon ‘Vegas Vickie’ sign, which now features as art installation in the hotel lobby.

Tony Hsieh: The Rise, the Fall, the Future by KTNV Las Vegas

“Derek Stevens, the owner of The D and Circa hotel-casinos, is a longtime investor in downtown Las Vegas. Stevens talks about life downtown before Fremont East became a go-to spot for entertainment, and recalls the “domino effect” that Hsieh started after he brought Zappos headquarters into the neighborhood.

Newest Vegas Hotel Casino Opens: Preview The Virgin Hotels Las Vegas by Larry Olmsted of Forbes

“Despite low occupancy rates amidst the city’s recent struggles, things seem to be picking up, and while several of the most prominent casino resorts shuttered themselves completely during slower midweek periods, those are coming back to full opening status. In addition, this is the second major recent opening, and comes on the heels of another flashy debut, the adults-only and sports-centric Circa Resort & Casino, which debuted in late October.

Top 10 new Las Vegas experiences on my trip itinerary by By Dan Ippolito of Casino City Times

Lastly, I have been looking forward to this one more than anything. Circa Resort & Casino opened earlier than expected on 28 October. Since then, I have been waiting to be able to step foot in Stadium Swim. This outdoor area overlooks Downtown Las Vegas and there is a backlit roofline, a massive 135-by-41-foot, 14 million-megapixel LED screen, a DJ booth, two swim-up bars, 30 cabanas, 340 chaise lounges, 38 day beds and two spas. What more do you need?”

Legacy Club signals new era in Vegas nightlife by Alex Haase of Las Vegas Magazine

In a nod to all the Vegas movers and shakers who helped shape Las Vegas, the swanky Legacy Club glorifies luminaries like Howard Hughes, Benny Binion, Sam Boyd and many more with custom metal busts and beautifully painted portraits. And although Legacy Club pays homage to the past, the lounge is undeniably contemporary, with slick décor, along with outdoor seating that features firepits and stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip.”
