Neon City Festival 2026: Everything Worth Knowing Before You Go

Artist Performing at Neon City Festival Free Event in Las Vegas

Downtown’s biggest weekend of the year comes back November 20 through 22, and it still costs nothing to walk into. Neon City Festival 2026 marks the third year of what organizers call the Festival Without Fences, which is less a slogan than an accurate description. There is no ticket, no wristband, and no gate. The festival simply takes over five blocks of Downtown Las Vegas and runs for three days.

If you have been to a major music festival before, this one works differently. Here is how it comes together and what to plan around.

When It Happens and What It Costs

Neon City Festival runs Friday, November 20 through Sunday, November 22, 2026. Admission is free, all ages are welcome, and no tickets are required for general access. An optional paid VIP pass is available for anyone who wants upgraded viewing and amenities, but the entire core festival is open to anybody who shows up.

That free, all-ages structure is what separates Neon City Festival Las Vegas from almost every other event of its scale. Founded by Circa owner Derek Stevens and produced in partnership with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Fremont Street Experience, and Audacy, it was built specifically as a thank-you to locals and visitors rather than a revenue event.

The 2026 Lineup

The first wave of headliners covers a deliberately wide range: Marshmello, Kaskade, Subtronics, and The Fray. That spread runs from EDM and bass to alternative rock, which is consistent with how the festival has been programmed since it started.

Festival CEO Jeff Victor has said the initial announcement is only the beginning, with additional artists, daily schedules, and set times still to come. If you are building a weekend around a specific act, watch for the full lineup release before locking in which nights matter most to you.

For context on scale, the inaugural 2024 edition booked more than 50 bands across four stages, with acts including Alison Wonderland, Neon Trees, Seven Lions, The All-American Rejects, and Plain White T’s. The 2026 program is expected to follow a similar build.

Where the Stages Are

Understanding the layout is the difference between catching three sets a night and spending the weekend walking back and forth. Performances run across three stages beneath the Fremont Street Experience canopy, plus a fourth hub at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.

  • Main Street Stage sits between Golden Gate and Circa, at the west end of the canopy
  • 1st Street Stage sits between Circa and Binion’s
  • 3rd Street Stage sits near Fremont, Four Queens, and the D, at the east end
  • Downtown Las Vegas Events Center anchors the south end with mainstage programming, food truck pods, and brand activations across its open-air footprint

The full stretch covers about five blocks end to end. Walking from one end of the canopy to the other takes under ten minutes, which means stage-hopping between sets is realistic in a way it rarely is at a fenced festival ground.

Anyone staying at Circa lands in the middle of that map. Two of the three canopy stages are within a block of the front door.

What Else Is Going On

Music is the anchor, but it is not the whole event. Past editions have layered in pop-up art installations, local food and drink vendors, interactive activations, laser shows, and nightly fireworks. The Viva Vision canopy overhead gets custom visuals engineered specifically for the screen during festival weekend, which is worth looking up for even if you are between sets.

Downtown restaurants, bars, and casinos work around the festival footprint instead of competing with it, which makes the neighborhood part of the show.

Where to Stay

Proximity matters more here than at a typical festival, because the stages are on public streets rather than a shuttle ride away. Staying inside the footprint means your room doubles as the place you go to recharge between sets.

Circa Resort & Casino sits directly between two of the three canopy stages. The property is running a Neon City Festival package that includes 20 percent off the room rate, a $50 beverage credit, two glasses of champagne at Legacy Club, and free entry to Stadium Swim.

That last inclusion is more useful than it sounds in November. Stadium Swim’s pools are temperature-controlled year-round, which makes a daytime pool session a workable counterweight to three consecutive nights of standing in a crowd. Spend the afternoon poolside, go back upstairs to reset, and walk out into the festival when evening programming starts.

There is also a $25 Match Play chip available at Circa or the D between November 19 and 23 for anyone who mentions the festival.

One thing to know before booking: Circa is a 21-and-over property, while the festival itself is all ages. Groups traveling with anyone under 21 will want to look at Golden Gate or the D instead, both of which sit inside the same festival footprint.

What to Sort Out Ahead of Time

A few practical things worth sorting out ahead of time.

November in Las Vegas runs cool after dark, often dropping into the 50s once the sun goes down. Most of this festival happens outdoors and on foot, so layers matter more than they would at a summer event.

Book rooms earlier than you think. Downtown fills up during festival weekend, and the properties inside the footprint go first.

Check the schedule once set times post. With four stages running simultaneously across five blocks, a little planning turns a good weekend into a much better one.

Finally, plan for walking. There is no shuttle system because there does not need to be one. Everything sits within a few blocks, which is the whole advantage of a festival built into an existing neighborhood.

See You in November

All ages, four stages, and a lineup running from EDM to hip-hop to alternative rock, packed into five walkable blocks of Downtown Las Vegas. Neon City Festival Las Vegas is the rare event of this size where showing up is the only requirement.

Book a room at Circa, and the walk from your elevator to the nearest stage takes about a minute.
